I needed something quick and easy to sew and had purchased a layer cake from Bunnyhill Designs and the Me and My Sister Designs Makin' it Cute Mitten pattern. I was able to make 3 mittens from 2 slices of the layer cake...add a little ribbon and you have a perfect little ornament.

This is adorable! I hear ya on needing something quick and easy. I've had two different quilts in the works, and they're taking forever! So I started a quick jelly roll quilt, am almost done with the quilt top, and STILL needed something quicker than that! So last night I made a little diaper tote for my youngest to have for church, and tonight it's potholders. :)
